Bay of Fires Lodge 4 day guided walk, Australia (Tasmania)

" Guided walk in Tasmania between two spectaculair lodges"

  • Bay of Fires Lodge 4 day guided walk, Australia (Tasmania)

WHY WE LIKE IT

This active holiday is the perfect way to forget about your emails and facebook status. During the walks you are too busy with the views of the breathtaking nature and the stories from the guides that you won’t even think about checking your phone. The lack of internet and cell reception makes the detox experience even better.

HOTEL DESCRIPTION

The journey starts at the Forester Beach Camp. This lodge is nestled in a protected dune swale behind a glorious white sand beach. Special detail about the camp is that it’s operating in a National Park, but it has obtained permission to be built. Really private, so you can enjoy in peace and tranquility.
From here you will move to the other lodge; the Bay of Fires Lodge. Set on a hilltop, 40 meters above the pounding of the sea and surrounded by National Park, the Bay of Fires Lodge is the only building on 20km of outstanding coastal wilderness. This eco-friendly lodge will let you experience the true communion with nature in accommodation that combines simplicity of design with comfort and warmth.

ACTIVITIES

Hard to find any additional activities, because this holiday is already quite active and there’s not a lot of time to participate other activities except for the walk of course. For the comfort of the guests, there is a spa in the Bay of Fires Lodge. The spa will offer breathtaking views with an outdoor deck and inside lounging spaces, extensive wellness and wilderness library, and a small spa boutique.

USEFUL INFORMATION

Not for the lazy holidaymaker; daily you have walk 9-14 kilometers so make sure you exercise regularly. Check the gear list on their website to make sure you don’t forget any important stuff. Meals with local ingredients will be served in both residences, so no worries about cooking.
